Tír na nÓg
Tír na nÓg means land of the young in Irish mythology. It is a magical other world a place of beauty, abudance and eternal youth, where there is no sickness, aging or sorrow.
The most famous tale of Tír na nÓg tells of the warrior/ poet Óisín, Son of Fionn Mac Cumhaill, leader of the Fianna, Niamh of the golden hair on her white horse.
