Ceramics by Celia

Celia is a potter based in Garrettstown, West Cork. She makes functional stoneware pottery from an old milking parlour turned studio overlooking the Old Head of Kinsale. Inspired by the seascapes and landscapes of Cork, her work often reflects the blues, greens, and soft tones of the coastline. She first started working with clay while living in Aotearoa, New Zealand, and has been making pottery ever since. Drawn to the slow, hands-on nature of clay, she values the time and care each piece requires, embracing the individuality that
comes with no two pieces ever being exactly the same.
