Collection: Sweet Copper Jewellery

Sweet Copper Jewellery – nature preserved in metal, made with heart

Maria is a designer from Ukraine who moved to Ireland in 2022. She is the founder of Sweet Copper, her artisan workshop now based in Cork. Since 2013, she has been creating jewelry from real leaves using an original electroforming technique. She also designs stylish hand-crocheted bags with leather accents. Maria is especially inspired by copper — a living, responsive material that carries warm natural energy. Before working with metal, she spent around 10 years practicing traditional felted clothing and was recognised as a folk craftswoman in her home country. Today, she brings together nature, style, and craftsmanship in every piece.

Her mission is to help every woman feel like the unique gem she truly is — through jewellery that highlights her essence.

This is a collection of handmade jewellery where real leaves, petals, and flowers are forever preserved in copper using an ancient electroforming technique. Each natural element is gathered with care — never harming the plant, always with deep respect for its life and form. The process is slow and meticulous, almost meditative, allowing every vein and curve to be captured in detail.

Maria also uses natural gemstones and beads, gently pairing them with copper to create a harmonious, earthy feel. The collection includes earrings, pendants, rings, bracelets, and brooches — each piece one of a kind. They carry the quiet breath of an Irish forest, a wild meadow, or a shaded garden path.

Jewellery for those who wish to stay close to nature — and stay true to themselves. Each piece holds a little stillness, a little light — and that kind of fragile beauty you almost miss… but never forget.
