Farraige

We are Orla and Armand, a couple living in Drinagh in West Cork. We fell in love with seaweed pressing and we created Farraige (Sea in Irish) to share our passion. We spent a lot of time wandering the beaches of West Cork and discovering the world of seaweed. Our pressings and prints are the result of our search, so that you can take the beauty of West Cork seaweed home.

We carefully and sustainably forage lovely specimens from the beaches and press them on watercolour paper. We love the impatient excitement that we get every time we open the press and reveal the results, every seaweed is a different wonder of shapes and colours.
