As we celebrate the 17th year of Cork Craft Month, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has helped make this festival possible. Year after year, Cork Craft Month continues to grow and thrive because of the passion, commitment, and belief of so many people who recognise the importance of craft, creativity and cultural expression in Cork. I would like to sincerely thank our funders and supporters, whose generosity and continued investment allow us to deliver another vibrant and ambitious programme of events. Your support provides the foundation that enables makers, artists and audiences to connect, learn and be inspired throughout the month of August!

A special thank you also goes to our colleagues across Cork’s arts and cultural sector. Your collaboration, partnership and willingness to open your doors and share your spaces help make Cork Craft Month a truly county-wide celebration of creativity. 

To the members of Cork Craft & Design, I am continually inspired by your talent, dedication and generosity. Whether you are organising events, welcoming visitors into your studios, exhibiting your work, or sharing your skills and stories, you are the heart of this festival.
