I am a third-generation soap maker from Syria, where soap making is more than a craft—it is my heritage and part of who I am. In 2017, I came to Clonakilty, Ireland seeking safety and a better life for my children after the war forced me to leave my home and loved ones behind. It was a difficult journey, but I carried hope with me. Ireland welcomed me with kindness and gave me a place to belong—today, it is my home.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, after losing my job in Therapy & Beauty Salon, I returned to my roots and rediscovered my passion for traditional soap making. Inspired by my Syrian heritage infused with my love of Irish nature, I began creating natural, handmade soaps using ingredients like honey, beeswax, and fresh goat’s milk from local Irish farms in West Cork.

Every product I make is crafted with care and love. Each one tells a story of resilience, gratitude, and new beginnings.

Soap & More is more than skincare—it is my journey, my heart, and a celebration of tradition and nature.
