As part of the St. Peter's Cork Heritage Open Day -Discover the art of raw edge appliqué in this relaxed, beginner-friendly hand sewing workshop. Learn simple stitching techniques to repair and personalise your clothes with colourful fabric patches, while embracing visible mending as a creative practice. You'll also explore how the same techniques can be used to create unique textile wall pieces with embroidered details and layered fabric designs. Perfect for complete beginners or those with a little more experience, this workshop will give you the confidence to patch those holes with colour fabric or create your own unique expressive handmade artwork with needle, thread, and fabric scraps.

Age requirement: 18+.

Cancellations

A refund will be issued where cancellation requests are received 7 days in advance of your booked date,  For instance, to receive a refund for a booking on the 8^th, your request must be received 7 days beforehand, on the 1^st at the latest.

No refund is possible for cancellation requests received 6 days or less before your booked date. For instance, for a booking on the 8^th, no refund will be issued if requested from and including the 2^nd onwards.

Class or course no-shows cannot be refunded or postponed after the fact.

It can take 5 to 10 working days from initiation for refunds to be processed and they will be refunded to the card the booking was made with.
