I turned this bowl from a piece of Elm from a tree from west Cork which fell down in a storm. After drying for a few years it was time to put it in the lathe and make this beautiful bowl out of it. After carefully cutting the shape I sanded it down to a very fine grit and then finished it with bee's wax which I got from the Cork Beekeepers Association.
