Suzanne O'Sullivan Glass

I have three great loves, my family, the natural world and glass. My glass studio is nestled amongst the rolling hills of North Cork, overlooking the beautiful Blackwater Valley. My surroundings and nature strongly influence my work. I’m often seen walking in the woods, picking wild flowers and ferns which I fuse into my glass. I think of these fused glass pieces as a moment preserved in time. Glass plays with light and colour like no other material, this combined with strong lines and shapes feature in my more abstract designs and jewellery. Glass is truly captivating, since graduating with a B.A in Fine Art I have been happily working, playing and training nationally and internationally in glass for nearly twenty years.
