Shady

Shady.ie is a Cork based, Irish passion project born out the love for all things lighting, artwork & homewares. Our lampshades, lamps and artwork are all designed, laser cut and
hand assembled in our Benchspace studio. Our motto is; if you can buy it elsewhere, we don’t make it!

Shady.ie is certainly not a one-size fits all.
All of our shades are customisable in size, shape, colour, scale, materials etc. We work with other designers to bring their concepts from initial sketch through prototyping through to final products.
We try to be as sustainable as possible and some of our ranges include
materials which are byproducts from industry which were destined for landfill.
We have rescued these byproducts to be given a new purpose as lighting.
We adore that we get to create gorgeous artwork, shades and lighting to add
a little colour to your spaces. We consider ourselves a lucky little bunch
altogether.
